Staff Training & Preparation

We've worked hard all summer to improve remote learning, and we're ready for fall!  Teachers have worked hard during their summer vacation attending virtual workshops, designing engaging lessons and sending us their feedback about how the best options to safely and effectively reopen our school.

We called families this week to ask questions and listen to their questions and concerns that we might not yet have considered. See Results from our August 3&4 Phone Survey

We heard from teachers, students and families that the best plan would have students here on campus as much as possible, while still allowing for physical distancing, disinfecting surfaces, wearing masks or face shields, and preparing for possible closures by providing technology training for everyone. Parents also asked that we simplify technology platforms used and  make learning schedules predictable and consistent.
