About Us

Crescent--home of the Loggers--is located in Joyce, Washington on the Northern Olympic Peninsula. We are nestled in between the Strait of Juan De Fuca to the North, and Crescent Lake to the South. Crescent operates a K-12 brick-and-mortar campus in Joyce, and a K-8 alternative learning program--Olympic Peninsula HomeConnections (OPHC)--spanning over Clallam and Jefferson Counties.

Crescent has a rich past, beginning as Joyce Consolidated School in 1926, when the logging industry was harvesting one giant log at a time and transporting it by rail to Crescent Bay for processing and shipping. Crescent continues to be the hub of Joyce, where we enjoy the tremendous support of the community both by parents, community members, and other local organizations.

Crescent School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, creed, religion, age, veteran or military status, disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability, and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups.
